Need to Know:
Serving Alcohol at Oxford Conference Center
Hosted or Cash Bar: For a hosted bar, the event permit, setup fee, bartenders and cost of drinks are all paid by you as the host. For a cash bar, you pay for the event permit, setup fee and bartenders, but guests pay for their own drinks when they are served.
Event Permit and Security: We will take care of procuring the City of Oxford event permit ($75) and security guards (starting at $35/hr) that are required for any event serving alcohol to 40 or more people. Security has a three hour minimum, and may require additional guards depending on the number of attendees. You will see these costs in your final bill from the Oxford Conference Center.
Direct-to-Vendor Payment: You will pay Taylor Grocery Catering directly for costs associated with the bar setup and alcohol.
Service Fee: All options require an additional 20% service charge.
